HistoryThe story of Metalloproduktsia started in 1993 – during a difficult period for the Russian industry and for the country itself. However even those times we recognized the importance of the industrial sector development. Designing and manufacturing of automotive accessories has been chosen as a core business for our company. As a result Metalloproduktsia was the first to bring into reality the idea of mass production of high-quality skid plates. We provide car owners with possibility to improve their vehicles with high quality product and to save time and money that could be lost in unpredictable road conditions.
1993 – Design of the first skid plate model 1994 – experimental production set up 1995 – engineering department establishment 1996 – serial production of skid plates start up 1997 – expansion of production capacities, improvement of production processes and modern equipment rigging. Product range counts for 200 models of skid plates 1998- Expansion in Russia – set up of first representative offices in Russia (Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Murmansk) 1999 – product range counts for 350 models of skid plates 2001 – launch of new product line – roof rack systems 2002- retrofit installation, switch to CNC machines, launch of first stamped skid plates 2003 – set up of new business direction – nation-wide distribution of world leading brands of towbars. Skid plates product range counts for 500 models. Company’s quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001: 2000 2004 – launch of first aluminium skid plates. Launch of premium Atlant roof rack systems. Start of European market expansion – set up of dealership in Hungary 2005 – Metallorpoduktsia LLC distribution network includes 60 cities in Russia and dealerships in Baltic states, CIS countries and Finland. 2006 – products presentation on word leading fairs. Skid plates product range counts for 1000 models. Expansion of distribution network in the EU – start of sales in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Spain. 2007 – start of cooperation with world leading car manufacturers, start of OE accessories manufacturing. Retrofit installation, introduction of new technologies onto production process 2008 – new project launch – certification according to ISO TS 16949 |
